One cent per message

The group chat that pays whoever talks least.

Add the bot to any group chat. Every message costs one cent. The cents go into a shared pot that buys stock fragments, and at the end of the month the pot pays out to the people who sent the fewest messages.

Counts messages. Never reads them. Telegram, Discord, and iMessage via the app.

How it works

A cent a message. The quiet get paid.

Nothing to install for most people. One bot, one wallet link, one pot.

Add the bot

Everyone in the chat links a wallet once and pre-funds a couple of dollars. The bot counts messages per person. It never stores content, only who sent one and when.

Every message costs a cent

Text, sticker, reaction, all one cent. Voice notes are two. The cents accumulate in the chat's own pot contract on Robinhood Chain, which anyone in the chat can read.

Month end, the pot pays out

The pot buys a fragment of a stock the chat voted on and splits it by fewest messages. Last place gets the most. First place gets a notification.

Pricing

What things cost now.

Every message type has a rate. The rates are small on purpose. The point is not the money. The point is that someone finally counted.

  • Leaving the chat forfeits your share of the pot.
  • The chat votes on which stock the pot buys.
  • Content never leaves the platform it was sent on.

From the chats

"I have been the quiet one for six years. Last month I got $19 of Apple for it. I said thank you. That cost a cent."

Reese · the quiet one

"Voice notes at two cents cut them in half. This is the most effective moderation tool I have ever seen."

Priya · chat admin

"Everyone stopped saying 'guys' and then not following up. Five cents was enough."

Dev · says guys

Questions

Is this financial advice?

No. The fragment the pot buys is a real stock token and it goes up and down. The silence is guaranteed. The returns are not.

Does the bot read our messages?

No. It counts them: sender, timestamp, and type. Content never leaves the platform it was sent on.

What stops the quiet one from leaving?

Leaving forfeits your share. The quiet one is winning and knows it.

Is it affiliated with Robinhood?

No. We build on their chain like anyone can. Not affiliated with Robinhood or any messaging platform.
